Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks along designated routes to ensure on-time delivery of parcels and freight.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and resolving any delivery issues on-site.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage reports.
- Unload merchandise efficiently and organize it according to customer specifications.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or valid state driver’s license (Class C with local delivery experience).
- A minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
