Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper lifting techniques.
- Navigate complex urban routes in San Francisco, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every stop, ensuring packages are delivered with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and digital paperwork in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route delays or vehicle issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco geography and traffic patterns.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
