Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial clients in the Phoenix metro area.
- Plan and execute efficient daily routes to ensure on-time delivery and optimal fuel usage.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries, handling questions and feedback with care.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Accurately complete all required delivery documentation, including logs and invoices.
- Unload shipments efficiently and securely, ensuring items are not damaged.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness for the company vehicle and personal appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional delivery or route driving role.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
