Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage daily delivery routes using GPS navigation and route optimization software
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including unloading assistance and order verification
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and optimize routes
- Represent Omaha Express Logistics with professionalism and integrity at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with route delivery background
- Strong knowledge of Omaha metropolitan area and surrounding Nebraska communities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient with GPS technology and basic digital documentation systems
- Strong communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
