Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys being on the road. As a Route Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our clients receive their packages safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on designated delivery routes within the Miami metro area and surrounding communities.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are secured and protected during transport.
- Interact with customers in a professional manner, answering questions and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service (HOS) as required by federal regulations.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or logistics setting.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong knowledge of local Miami geography and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
