Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in and around the Kansas City metropolitan area.</li><li>Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling of freight.</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and paperwork in compliance with regulations.</li><li>Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions.</li><li>Uphold company safety standards and traffic laws at all times.</li><li>Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) depending on vehicle requirements.</li><li>Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.</li><li>Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.</li><li>Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.</li><li>Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and navigating using GPS systems.</li><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.</li><li>Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.</li></ul>
