As a Route Driver with us, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to our customers in the Wichita area and surrounding regions. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on designated routes in Wichita, KS, and the greater Kansas area.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to ensure product integrity and prevent damage.
- Verify and document delivery details, including signatures and inventory counts, using our mobile app.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during every stop.
- Handle paperwork accurately, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of local geography in the Wichita, KS region.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor tasks.
