As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You are the face of our brand, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and communicates effectively.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (CDL Class A or B preferred) on assigned routes in the Kansas City area.
- Deliver products to commercial and residential customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve any issues and ensure 100% satisfaction.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
- Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong knowledge of local Kansas City streets, traffic patterns, and road safety.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, as required by the schedule.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
