Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport products to designated delivery routes within the Houston metropolitan area.
- Unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, ensuring accuracy and care.
- Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining necessary signatures and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Prepare and maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading (BOL), and proof of delivery (POD) documents.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar logistics role.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of map reading, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor at all times.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
