Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on established routes throughout the Houston metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are handled with care and placed in the appropriate storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
- Manage delivery documentation, including logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on vehicle type).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and delivery manifests accurately.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays as required.
