Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (CDL Class A or B preferred) to deliver goods to designated stops in the Fresno area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload merchandise accurately, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of delivery times, mileage, and delivery statuses.
- Interact professionally with customers at each delivery location to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues on the spot.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements (Hazmat preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in local route driving or logistics operations.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load/unload cargo safely.
- Basic proficiency with handheld scanning devices and delivery software.
