Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class B) on designated routes throughout Dallas and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring packages are handled with care and accuracy.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck interior at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in local delivery or route driving.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and handheld scanning devices.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
