Your Daily Mission:
As a Route Driver, you are the face of our company. You will ensure our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes throughout the Atlanta metro area.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain signatures from recipients.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Manage customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and inventory documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of the Atlanta road network and traffic patterns.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
