Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated routes throughout the Seattle metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages and materials while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.
- Handle cash and process electronic payments accurately.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a similar delivery or logistics role.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to read maps and GPS devices.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
