As a Route Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our clients receive their products safely and on time. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated customer locations throughout the Austin metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secure and accounted for before and after delivery.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain customer signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of miles driven, fuel consumption, and delivery statuses using handheld GPS and delivery software.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving any delivery issues professionally.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in commercial driving or route delivery.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must have a current DOT medical card.
