Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to designated locations within the New York City metro area.
- Load and unload cargo with careful attention to detail, ensuring proper handling of merchandise.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at each delivery point, representing the company brand.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle and perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Complete accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Navigate complex urban traffic patterns and address changes with precision.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Valid DOT Medical Card (Class A or B).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mapping software.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
