Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to designated delivery stops in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and security.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling cash/card transactions and resolving delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift boxes and maneuver packages in and out of the vehicle.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
