Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations in the Atlanta metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently, adhering to weight restrictions and proper handling protocols.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring packages are delivered with care and answering questions regarding deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and time sheets.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a professional capacity.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow routes efficiently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
