Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (DVIR) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical on file.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents within the last 3 years.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekends if required.
