Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated routes and addresses in the Charlotte area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including proof of delivery and time sheets.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle delivery exceptions with diplomacy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
