Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to ensure timely and accurate package delivery to residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected during transit to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, maintaining a positive brand image at every delivery.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Update delivery status and log accurate mileage and delivery records using handheld devices.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly, reaching overhead and bending.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate efficiently in various traffic conditions.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and checking emails.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the warehouse.
