Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/DOT) and manage all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
