Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail goods to customers within designated Portland neighborhoods
- Provide exceptional customer service through timely deliveries and professional communication
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle cash transactions when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adapt to real-time route adjustments using our GPS tracking system
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Represent SwiftRoute Logistics with professionalism and brand integrity
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
