Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses in Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area.
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every delivery interaction, including polite greetings and careful handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Report any delivery issues, lost items, or road hazards to the dispatch team immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and a proven track record of punctuality.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps, logging, and communication.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adhere to a strict schedule.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check.
