Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in Oakland and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Handle cargo with care, ensuring packages are loaded, secured, and delivered without damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling inquiries and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery times, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and GPS navigation.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
