Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload packages safely and efficiently at each stop.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accuracy before handing over goods.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and mechanical condition of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Complete daily logs and report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) as required for the vehicle type.
- Current DOT medical card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal transportation to the terminal.
- Basic computer literacy for logging duties.
