Responsibilities
- Execute Safe Deliveries: Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial addresses in the Minneapolis metro area.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, obtaining signatures, and ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is clean and in proper working order.
- Route Planning: Efficiently plan delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while meeting strict deadlines.
- Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize packages, ensuring they are not damaged during transit.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of delivery activities and any incidents that may occur during the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions within the last 3 years).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in delivery driving, logistics, or related field.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Vehicle Requirements: Reliable personal vehicle or availability to operate company vehicles.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld scanners, GPS navigation systems, and delivery management apps.
