Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and handling of all cargo to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a route efficiently.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for GPS navigation and communication.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
