Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver packages and freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and placement to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon completion of each route.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatchers via radio or phone.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems and mapping software.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends as needed.
