Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods and packages to designated addresses in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are secure and in good condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle maintenance.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a friendly demeanor.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and mapping applications to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Current, valid, and insurable auto insurance.
- Must have a reliable smartphone with data capabilities for navigation and logging.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
