Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated addresses in San Jose and the surrounding South Bay area.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of parcels while strictly adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all packages are received with care and professionalism.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Accurately complete delivery receipts, mileage logs, and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding delivery status with a helpful and solution-oriented attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (DMV printout required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery apps.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts.
