Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and documents to designated locations throughout San Diego County
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary GPS tracking and mobile application
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and resolve delivery exceptions
- Handle high-value or temperature-sensitive packages with specialized care protocols
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proven experience in package delivery, logistics, or transportation field
- Strong knowledge of San Diego streets, highways, and delivery zones
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and route navigation apps
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
