Responsibilities
- Timely pickup and delivery of time-sensitive documents and packages throughout NYC boroughs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication at every stop
- Safely operate company vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using GPS navigation systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
- Proven experience in urban delivery or courier services
- Strong knowledge of NYC streets, bridges, and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance required
