Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial destinations throughout the El Paso metro area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols to ensure a accident-free driving record.
- Obtain proper signatures and confirm delivery details with customers, maintaining a high standard of professional conduct.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and ensure the cleanliness of the delivery truck.
- Manage delivery schedules accurately, including route planning and time management to meet strict deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong navigation skills and proficiency with mobile delivery apps.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
