Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout Baltimore and the Greater Baltimore Area.
- Ensure accurate delivery by verifying addresses, obtaining signatures, and capturing proof of delivery (POD) as required.
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Manage and organize delivery paperwork, including delivery logs and expense reports, with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong navigational skills and ability to read maps and use GPS devices effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in all weather conditions.
