Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and documents throughout New Orleans metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup/drop-off interactions
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adapt to dynamic routing based on traffic and delivery priorities
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Ensure all deliveries comply with company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred but not required
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
