Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial clients with accuracy and speed.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a smile.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained delivery vehicle at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Utilize GPS navigation and delivery management software to optimize routes.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or physical signatures for proof of delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 5 years).
- At least 1 year of professional driving or courier experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Proficient in using smartphones for navigation and delivery apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
