Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents across Dallas/Fort Worth using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain perfect delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication with clients
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Handle high-value and temperature-sensitive shipments with specialized protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Knowledge of Dallas metro area and surrounding suburbs
