Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on schedule while maintaining a professional image.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience (hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
