Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on long-haul and regional routes (Charlotte & Texas).
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Secure cargo and ensure proper loading/unloading procedures are followed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned regions as needed.
