Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers over various road conditions.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper tie-down techniques.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) accurately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickup and delivery stops.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to read maps, understand traffic patterns, and navigate independently.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving techniques.
