Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles over various routes across the United States.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and handling.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred for this level).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overnight travel.
