Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial Class A vehicle to transport freight across the Southwest region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (EOBR) records and all required documentation.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, FMCSA regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/HOS regulations, hours of service, and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
