Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure full compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid US Commercial Driverβs License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in a similar role.
- Current DOT medical card and valid DOT physical examination.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
