Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a physical agility test.
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to undergo a background check.
