Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck safely and efficiently for local/regional deliveries
- Manage route planning to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and vehicle logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize fuel efficiency and load security
- Track and manage revenue per mile
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Strong knowledge of Lexington, KY area
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Reliable personal vehicle for non-commercial use
- Proof of commercial insurance
