Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport across Baton Rouge and surrounding areas
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) at job sites
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch team
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of Baton Rouge area routes
- Strong attention to safety and compliance
- Reliable transportation to depot
