We are currently hiring for routes covering the New York Metropolitan area and surrounding states.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Ensure the securement of freight and adherence to weight and balance requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic computer literacy for paperwork processing.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs independently.
