Your Role
As a Driver for Prime Logistics, you are the face of our company. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the region.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport cargo safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold company policies regarding safety, cleanliness, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
- Basic computer skills for log entry and communication.
