Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Uphold the company's high standards for customer service and company image while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong English reading and comprehension skills.
- Willingness to travel and work varying shifts as required.
